Pastor Russell Evans - Releasing faith through words. 9th September 2007.
Genesis 1:5-26 - "God said" God says, God releases faith through words.
Everything that has been established is by our
words, even salvation (Romans 10:9). Thus we should always make "our words HIS WORDS"
1) Words Create -> With your mouth confess him into your life, by declaring it by your words.
"Russel your a champ, his words create who I am, in me, he build a desire to touch God. Let your words declare what God says about what he wants to do in you.
2) Words build up or pull Down -> Declare words of hope and not hopelessness. Speak hope into hopelessness. The very thing God calls you to be, the devil tries to pull it down. Live in the position of blessing by your words. Words build you up.
3) Decide which words you
listen to. Live a life built up on the inside. Word of God builds.
Proverbs 18:21 - Death & Life of the power of the tongue. Those that love it will eat its fruit.
Job 27:4, Psalms 34:30, Psalms 37:4, Psalms 45:1, Proverbs 6:16, Proverbs 10, Proverbs 12:7, Proverbs 15.
The Tongue has POWER.
4) Our words represent what our thoughts & dreams are. Declare the favour, peace,
release your faith through your words.
5) Our words come from the heart. Speak words filled with heavenly words.
Luke 6:34 - The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his
heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his
heart. For out of the overflow of his
heart his mouth
speaks.
6) Words create atmospheres. Get filled with God, let your words declare heaven. Your brings atmospheres. Throw out word of hate from your life. Get in the words of God. Out of your heart, create atmospeheres of life and not death.
"Angry words create awkward atmospheres"
7) Words create positive or negativity.
Revelations 12:11 -
11They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;
Testimony means marturia or "Do it again". Everytime we have a testimony we are "Doing it again".
Let us be people who constantly talk about what God is "Doing again" in our life. Look every moment to be a testimony. By the time we get into prayer we go "Amen!"
8) Gods words bring destiny into reality.
Jeremiah 1:5 -
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew
[a] you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
9) Speak words of Love & Blessings.
